SHERIDAN, Wyo., Sept. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Five years ago, Autheo began building an Internet Operating System around a simple but ambitious premise: the technologies powering the next digital economy should not have to live in separate worlds. Today, one unusual market offers a glimpse of what that premise means in practice.
THEO, the native utility coin of the Autheo Internet Operating System, goes live today against a tokenized NVIDIA instrument through Uniswap on Robinhood Chain. The market places the economic asset of an emerging decentralized infrastructure network into the same programmable venue as a token linked to one of the companies that helped define the modern artificial intelligence and accelerated computing economy.
And that is only the first of two market expansions Autheo is announcing today.
TWO MARKETS, ONE LARGER STORY
On Thursday, October 1, THEO is scheduled to begin trading on MEXC, extending Autheo’s economic layer from permissionless decentralized markets into a global centralized exchange serving more than 40 million users across more than 170 countries and regions.
The two events continue a market expansion that began on August 20, when THEO opened against USDC on Hydrex on Base, and then on September 10 with THEO against USDG on Uniswap v3 on Robinhood Chain. As of today THEO has three decentralized markets across two blockchain environments. From October 1 it has its first centralized one.
Taken separately, they are two new markets. Taken together, they say something about what Autheo has spent five years building.
THE ROADS COME AFTER THE FOUNDATION
Autheo did not introduce a coin and then look for something to build around it. Autheo Mainnet has been live since May 14, 2026, secured by 149 active validator nodes out of 156 total as of September 23, 2026. Autheo’s infrastructure has undergone independent security audits across multiple layers, with Halborn auditing the Testnet and validator node platform, CertiK auditing Mainnet and smart contracts, and Adevar Labs auditing the Base to Autheo Mainnet bridge.
Autheo’s public testnet has generated more than 2.2 million wallet addresses, more than 1.2 million smart contracts, and more than 10.8 million transactions as of September 21, 2026, reflecting sustained developer activity across the build-out. Those figures describe cumulative testnet activity rather than current Mainnet totals.
Autheo was founded by Scott Bayless and Todd Mortenson and has grown into a global organization of more than 100 co-founders and contributors across more than 25 countries. The team brings experience spanning blockchain engineering, artificial intelligence, distributed systems, cryptography, cybersecurity, product, finance, legal, and enterprise operations, including Fortune 500 experience and advanced degrees from institutions including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Caltech, and Wharton. Autheo’s broader ecosystem includes infrastructure, security, liquidity, token infrastructure, and integration relationships with organizations including Zeeve, InfStones, Enflux, TrustSwap, Team Finance, Utila, Antier, CertiK, Halborn, Adevar Labs, among others.
Which is why the order of these announcements matters.
| “Cyrus understood more than two thousand years ago that civilizations are not connected merely by what they build, but by the roads they build between them,” said Scott Bayless, Founder and Managing Director of Autheo. “Technology has created extraordinary kingdoms: cloud, blockchain, artificial intelligence, financial markets. Too often, it has created them as separate worlds. Autheo was conceived around a different idea: build beneath those divisions, so that value, computation, and information can move across them. Today THEO trades in the same programmable market as a tokenized NVIDIA instrument. Next week MEXC opens another road into that economy across more than 170 countries and regions. There is an ancient instruction to enlarge the place of the tent and lengthen its cords. After five years of building the foundation, that is where Autheo stands. The foundation is built. Now we lengthen the cords.” |
Those roads are now beginning to converge.
WHY NVIDIA, AND WHY NOW
The THEO / NVDA market is not a novelty pairing. It is a preview of the kind of convergence Autheo was built to enable.
Five domains that have traditionally operated across separate technological and financial environments intersect inside this one market. NVIDIA represents accelerated computing and the physical infrastructure of the AI era. Autheo is building decentralized compute, storage, networking, and AI infrastructure. Robinhood Chain brings tokenized real-world assets onchain. Uniswap provides the programmable, permissionless market. THEO provides the economic layer through which the Autheo ecosystem operates. Five categories that rarely share a venue now share a price.
In practice it is simpler than it sounds. THEO and a tokenized NVIDIA instrument now sit in the same liquidity pool, on the same chain, quoted against each other continuously. Equity markets are open roughly six and a half hours on a weekday. This one does not close.
The symbolism should not be overstated. A relative price between two assets is not a measurement of the industries behind them. What the pairing indicates is direction, and that direction is not unique to Autheo. Tokenized equities were the fastest-growing category of onchain real-world assets in 2026, rising 390.4 percent year to date to $4.43 billion and lifting their share of tracked real-world asset value from 4.9 percent to 13.0 percent, according to Binance Research figures as of September 15, 2026. The same research places that $4.43 billion at 0.0029 percent of a $151.9 trillion listed-equity reference market. The category is compounding quickly and remains almost entirely unbuilt.
Robinhood Stock Tokens are standard ERC-20 contracts priced by per-asset onchain feeds and backed one-to-one by the underlying equity held with a licensed custodian. Robinhood has made Stock Tokens available in more than 120 countries subject to jurisdictional restrictions.
An important distinction: a Stock Token is not common stock. Robinhood Stock Tokens are tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited that provide economic exposure to an underlying security without granting any legal or beneficial ownership, voting rights, or claim against the issuer of that security. Autheo does not issue Stock Tokens and makes no representation regarding NVIDIA Corporation or its securities. The market does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation by NVIDIA Corporation. Stock Tokens carry their own eligibility restrictions and are not available in every jurisdiction, including to U.S. persons.
That opens one kind of access. Reaching a global market takes another.
NEXT WEEK, THE ROAD GETS WIDER
On Thursday, October 1, THEO is scheduled to begin trading on MEXC. Founded in 2018, MEXC serves more than 40 million users across more than 170 countries and regions, with particular depth in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the CIS region. For Autheo, whose contributor network spans more than 25 countries, that geographic reach matters as much as the volume.
A centralized exchange reaches people a decentralized one cannot. It requires no wallet, no bridge, and no familiarity with onchain mechanics. MEXC is therefore not a replacement for Autheo’s decentralized markets but a complement to them: permissionless venues for users who want custody of their own assets, and an account-based global platform for those who do not. MEXC’s growing participation in tokenized equity markets also makes it a logical venue for a coin whose newest market is quoted against a tokenized equity instrument.
Autheo has engaged Enflux, a quantitative trading and liquidity firm, to manage THEO liquidity across its expanding market ecosystem, spanning both centralized and decentralized venues. Enflux supports THEO markets on Base and Robinhood Chain, including the new THEO / NVDA market, and will support liquidity on MEXC as THEO enters the exchange. The mandate gives Autheo a coordinated liquidity strategy across chains, trading pairs, and market structures rather than treating each venue as an isolated market.
That continuity is part of why Autheo selected the firm. Enflux operates across both order-book and onchain venues, while its decentralized market practice includes active range management and rebalancing on Uniswap v3-style automated market makers rather than relying solely on static liquidity positions. That approach is particularly relevant as THEO expands across multiple onchain markets, including markets quoted against stablecoins and now a tokenized equity instrument.
Enflux has built its practice around transparency and client control, which matters to Autheo as THEO’s market structure becomes broader and more interconnected. A consistent liquidity partner across Base, Robinhood Chain, the THEO / NVDA market, and MEXC allows those markets to be managed as parts of a larger liquidity ecosystem rather than as disconnected venues.
| “As THEO expands across decentralized and centralized markets, the objective is to maintain a consistent liquidity strategy across each environment,” said Evgeni Hristov, Head of Trading at Enflux. “Supporting THEO across Base, Robinhood Chain, and MEXC allows us to manage those markets as parts of a broader liquidity ecosystem rather than as isolated venues.” |
But markets alone do not create an economy. Something has to move across them.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE MARKET MEETS THE PRODUCT
Autheo is now moving from building the foundation to progressively putting more of that foundation into the hands of developers and users.
The next stage of the Internet Operating System includes Autheo DevHub, designed as the developer entry point into the ecosystem; the Autheo Mesh, a distributed execution environment for compute, storage, networking, and AI workloads; and the Autheo Infrastructure Marketplace, designed to connect applications and users that need digital infrastructure with the providers capable of supplying it, alongside identity, security, and interoperability services.
Together they are intended to bring capabilities developers currently assemble across separate clouds, chains, infrastructure providers, identity systems, and AI services into one environment. Over the coming months, Autheo plans to release these components progressively, with specific dates announced as each completes final testing and deployment.
The architecture is designed so that:
| Layer 0 coordinates the system. The Mesh does the work. Layer 1 provides trust and settlement. THEO powers the economy. | ||
| “Distribution matters, but sequence matters more,” said Todd Mortenson, Founder and Managing Director of Autheo. “Many projects open a market first and build the reason for it later. We did it the other way around. Mainnet has been live since May, secured by 156 validators, and it was running months before THEO traded anywhere. Now THEO trades on Base and Robinhood Chain, and next week MEXC opens it to a global centralized market. Liquidity without infrastructure is just a market. Infrastructure without liquidity is just a network. As DevHub and the Infrastructure Marketplace come into public use, these stop being announcements and start compounding. Developers build applications, applications consume infrastructure, and that activity settles in THEO. That is the difference between listing an asset and building an economy.” | ||
That changes the meaning of THEO’s expanding liquidity.
THE ECONOMY BENEATH THE INTERNET OPERATING SYSTEM
THEO is designed to be the common economic layer across that environment: the asset through which developers and applications consume infrastructure, providers earn for supplying resources, and activity is settled. Today THEO supports network transaction fees. As more infrastructure becomes available, its intended utility expands into compute, storage, networking, and AI execution.
That puts the significance of these two market expansions into a larger context. Autheo’s objective is not simply to create more places where THEO can trade. It is to widen access to the economic layer at the same time that the infrastructure capable of creating demand for that layer comes online.
Today demonstrates convergence. Next week expands distribution. What follows is utility.
HOW TO TRADE THEO TODAY
THEO is available today through permissionless decentralized markets on Base and Robinhood Chain:
- THEO / USDC — Hydrex on Base.
- THEO / USDG — Uniswap v3 on Robinhood Chain.
- THEO / NVDA — Uniswap on Robinhood Chain, live September 24.
Beginning October 1, THEO is also scheduled to become available through MEXC, adding centralized exchange access for users in supported jurisdictions.
Autheo maintains official trading links, verified contract addresses, network information, and step-by-step purchasing instructions on its token launch page.

THEO holders can also stake directly from a wallet. Autheo operates a THEO staking pool on Robinhood Chain, powered by Team Finance and embedded at autheo.com/staking, which requires no account, no hardware, and no node operation. Participants connect a supported wallet, confirm the wallet is on Robinhood Chain, choose an amount, and confirm the transaction. Reward and unstaking terms are set by the staking pool contract and displayed in the interface. The pool is scheduled to close on October 10, 2026.
This is a staking pool on the Robinhood Chain network and is not offered through Robinhood’s brokerage application.
